Kevin O'Shea is an Interior Designer and Ceramicist living under the bright lights of New York City.

Graduating with his B.F.A. in Interior Architecture from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Kevin pursued a career in corporate hotel design in New York City working first for Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he helped launch the design initiatives for the newly acquired Le Meridien brand in 2006.  Kevin then went on to join the design team at Morgans Hotel Group where he oversaw various aspects of interior design in the existing portfolio as well as many new projects during his tenure.  Kevin's passion for the brand and ability to impart his own mark on these venerable hotels is evident in such projects as the Sky Terrace at Hudson Hotel in New York City which he redesigned in 2007.

In the spring of 2009 Kevin's weekend hobby of being a ceramicist took a more permanent role in his life with the launch of HAPPY by Kevin O'Shea.  HAPPY is an eclectic tabletop collection of unique handmade ceramics sold on Etsy and something that Kevin now devotes most of his time to developing and nurturing.

Kevin has also completed a number of interiors projects in New York City, including his own home in the Financial District of Manhattan which he shares with his partner and their two cats, Boris and Stella.  Other projects include a dramatic makeover of an alcove studio in Greenwich Village and a corporate office in Midtown Manhattan.

Kevin O'Shea Designs, LLC was launched in the Summer of 2009 and is a full service Interior Design studio offering clients "Handmade Interiors" which impart care, thoughtfulness  and superior quality into both the design process and the finished product.  Kevin O'Shea Designs also manages the continued production and expansion of HAPPY which is now being sold in retail stores throughout the U.S.

In his own words: "Design should be approachable and engaging, spaces and products should reflect the personalities of those who are interacting with them and most importantly they should be comfortable in use, timeless in style, and lasting in memory...these are the qualities of a Handmade Interior"
