Kevin O'Shea is an interior designer living in New York City and Provincetown, Massachusetts on the tip of Cape Cod.  Kevin maintains studios in both locations and enjoys bringing his unique style to the design challenges that are inherent in both locations.

Graduating with his B.F.A. in Interior Architecture from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Kevin pursued a career in corporate hotel design in New York City working first for Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he helped launch the design initiatives for the newly acquired Le Méridien brand in 2006.  Kevin then went on to join the corporate design team at Morgans Hotel Group where he oversaw various renovations in the existing portfolio as well as many new projects during his tenure.  Kevin's passion for the brand and ability to impart his own mark on these venerable hotels is evident in such projects as the Sky Terrace at Hudson Hotel in New York City which he redesigned in 2007.

Kevin has also completed a number of interiors projects in New York City all of which can be seen on the Portfolio page.

Kevin O'Shea Designs, LLC was launched in the Summer of 2009 and is a full service interior design studio specializing in Boutique Hotels and the company's signature Boutique Homes.   Kevin approaches each design with thoughtfulness and care and is sensitve to the contextual and budgetary parameters of each project.

In July 2010 Kevin and his partner acquired The Martin House in Provincetown, Massachusetts.  Kevin has been busy overseeing the extensive renovation and restoration of the iconic 18th century house.  The house will showcase Kevin's Modern American Colonial style and serve as a showpiece for Kevin O'Shea Designs on Cape Cod.  The project is scheduled for completion in the Summer of 2011.

In his own words: "Design should be approachable and engaging, spaces and products should reflect the personalities of those who are interacting with them and most importantly they should be comfortable in use, timeless in style, and lasting in memory."
